MEET THE HOUSE

Forever trusting who we are

& nothing else matters

-Metallica

Since the beginning of our love story we have talked about joining forces and working as a collective. After the birth of our daughter it became an even stronger pull,  so after years contemplating and a leap of faith, "House of Ivy" was born. We want to use our love to capture love, to put art out into the world, to make a difference. Family is everything to us and being able to work together as a team and be home with our daughter is all we could ever dream of.  My father has always taught me the importance of client relationships, and that when you buy from a small business you're not just buying a product or service, you're investing into the person or family behind that product or service. We take that motto seriously and it's important to us that you know a little about who you're investing in when you work with House of Ivy.

We are Kristin & Brandon Welch, lovers of all things art, horror movies, and a good whiskey ginger. Kristin owned and operated her photography business "Minotti Marie Photography" for 8 years throughout FL, NY, and NC. Kristin has always worked outside the box when it comes to shooting and her moody style has followed her since the beginning. She has also enjoyed doing design work in her personal life from logos and branding to event design and invitations. Brandon is a jack-of-all-trades and spent a decade of his life touring as the lead singer of his band "Far-less", and continued pursing his passion with music in the years that followed. In 2014 he decided to go back to school and graduated from GTCC with his Bachelors in Advertising and Design, immediately landing a position with Builders Art & Graphics here in Winston-Salem. With our talents combined we are able to offer a unique one-stop shop for photo and design work, with a focus on wedding photography and branding. Take a look around our site and galleries, and please feel free to contact us with any inquiries or questions! We look forward to growing our House here in North Carolina & beyond, bringing a fresh and edgy style to our community.
